Born and raised in Vienna in 1968
Studied sports science and geography and completed a three-year photography apprenticeship with Georg Klenovsky.
Worked as a travel journalist until 2006 (Asia, Ireland, and the British Isles) and gave multimedia presentations about the countries he visited until 2007.
Has worked as a freelance filmmaker since 2007.
He also works as a father and has two daughters.
